Their fruits have three sharp corners, dark brown.

The scientists said that they were first cultivated in Yunnan Province, China from 6000 BC.

Then spread to the countries of Central Asia and Tibet. From the 15th century, buckwheat spread to many European countries. In the Middle East and Japan now have this plant.

Common Buckwheat (or buckwheat) is a plant. It is often seen as a cereal. Buckwheat is not a true grass. It is not related to wheat, because wheat is a true grass. Buckwheat seeds look like small beech tree seeds (wikipedia).

The thing I always find interesting is our buckwheat fields are not only white when blooming, that initially, all the flowers are white, after one week will turn purple. It will then move gradually into dark red. All are very nice.
